    Meet our Safeguarding Team

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare - both physical and emotional - of every student.

    • Prioritising Student Wellbeing - we place the wellbeing of students at the forefront of all actions.
    • Preventative Approach - we implement a whole-school approach to identify and address safeguarding concerns proactively.
    • Shared Responsibility - All staff, volunteers and visitors are expected to share this commitment and contribute to a safe environment.
    • Vigilance and Safe Practices - The school emphasises the importance of maintaining a vigilant and safe environment and challenging inappropriate behaviour.

If you have a concern regarding any of our students, please contact a member of the safeguarding team (below).

The Children (Guernsey and Alderney) Law 2008 requires all States of Guernsey employees (and everyone else working with children) to work together and share information to ensure children and young people get the services they need to achieve or maintain a reasonable standard of health or development. The Islands Safeguarding Children Partnership (ISCP) has established extensive guidance (http://iscp.gg) to promote effective co-ordination and co-operation between agencies providing services to children and families, which must be followed by all people working in education establishments in Guernsey and Alderney, whether paid or unpaid.
